Bible verses about identity
Three Berean Standard Bible Version verses to read, save or send to someone who needs them.
“I praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Marvelous are Your works, and I know this very well.” Psalm 139:14 BSB
“For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance as our way of life.” Ephesians 2:10 BSB
“But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, to proclaim the virtues of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.” 1 Peter 2:9 BSB
Lumi's take
Filters, follower counts and comparison all try to tell you who you are. Scripture says you're God's workmanship. The Greek word is poiema, where we get "poem." You're not a draft. You were made on purpose, for a purpose.
Pray it
Creator, when I compare myself, remind me that I'm Your workmanship and wonderfully made. Amen.
