Bible verses about gratitude
Three Berean Standard Bible Version verses to read, save or send to someone who needs them.
“Give thanks in every circumstance, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” 1 Thessalonians 5:18 BSB
“Give thanks to the LORD, for He is good; His loving devotion endures forever.” Psalm 107:1 BSB
“And whatever you do, in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.” Colossians 3:17 BSB
Lumi's take
Notice it says "in every circumstance," not "for every circumstance." You don't have to be thankful for a bad day, but you can find something good inside one. Try it tonight: name three things, however small. Gratitude is a muscle.
Pray it
Father, thank You for the good I noticed today and the good I missed. Teach me to see it. Amen.
