Bible verses for anxiety

Three Berean Standard Bible Version verses to read, save or send to someone who needs them.

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7 BSB
“Cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you.” 1 Peter 5:7 BSB
“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Today has enough trouble of its own.” Matthew 6:34 BSB

Lumi's take

Anxiety is loud. It narrates every worst case like it's a movie trailer. Scripture doesn't tell you to pretend it isn't there. It tells you where to take it. Paul wrote about peace from a prison cell, so he wasn't writing from an easy life. Try this: name the worry, pray it in one honest sentence, then do the next small thing.

Pray it

God, here's what's weighing on me. I'm handing it to You, one worry at a time. Guard my heart and mind with Your peace. Amen.
